All FTP servers and FTP sites hosted by FTP Today come equipped with our proprietary Web FTP client at no extra charge. This allows users to login to their private FTP site via port 21 and transfer files to and from the FTP server, without the need for third party software. The Web FTP client is written in Java and is cross-platform and cross-browser compatible. |

Both the FTP server and the Web FTP client can optionally support SSL-encrypted logins and transfers via FTPS (Implicit SSL or Explicit SSL). The Secure Web FTP client is also firewall-friendly and will automatically switch the client-server connection to an FTP-over-HTTPS (SSL tunnel) if the required ports for FTPS are being blocked by an end-user firewall. |

The Web FTP client can optionally be customized and branded with the FTP site owner's own logo and color scheme. The Custom Web FTP client can even be placed inside of another web site (such as www.yourdomain.com) using an <iframe> tag in HTML. |
